Box Champions
Box Champions is an intervention designed to empower young people aged 8 to 25 with the skills and inspiration needed to make positive changes in their lives. The programme combines non-contact boxing training with psychology-informed mentoring to create purposeful sessions designed to meet the individual needs of the young person.

Box Champions is delivered on a one-to one basis (or small group where appropriate) by coach/mentors with background in boxing, mental health services and education. They have participated in extensive training in Trauma, ADHD awareness , Autism , Mental Health and cognitive behaviour therapy. However their greatest asset is their extensive experience of with young people.

Throughout Box Champions, young people learn evidence-based personal development principles including how the brain works, to allow them to understand feelings they may be experiencing. This equips them with the skills to manage emotions, behaviours, and situations.
